Jeep Grand Cherokee Off Road & Overlanding Build

This Jeep Grand Cherokee has been in our family for 12 years and its time for it to get some much needed upgrades.  First we really needed step back and look at the goals of the build.  First and formost was reliability and comfort, we travel all over the midwest and don't want to build a designated trailer queen so reliability will be crucial.  That made the decision to install a Clayton Offroad 6" Long Arm System very easy, the system is built for the hardest abuse imaginable and rides smooth unlike many lifted Jeeps.  We mated the system with Fox shocks and the ride turned out great.  We chose 17" Method Race Wheels wrapped in Mastercraft AXT tires to give us the grip we need without the tire noise normally associated with aggressive tires.  The 17s look great and still give us the much needed tire sidewall for off roading.
